On behalf of all the executives i want to say a big thank you to you all for your support so far. Being a set of executives not blessed with the luxury of time, you all have been patient and has encouraged us through various ways possible.
As you all know, we just clocked 3-months in office, while it has not been a walk in the park, its been a worthwhile experiance. i'll be taking us on the few projects that we have accomplished in this short time.
1. Renovation of ULAPS notice board in the students hostel and procurement of a mini-notice board in part 2 class
2. welcome programme/seminar for part one students
3. First batch of ULAPS souvenirs (calender, biros, I.D card etc)
4. Cinema outing/after party
5. Incorporation of House of reps (legislative arm of ULAPS)
6. Getting patrons to ease the financial burdens of our association
7. Incorporation of relevant commitees according to the provisions of the constitution.
This is just an overview of what we have done in the past 3months in office. Though our execution in some areas might not be 'top-notch' i want to assure you that we have learnt from our mistakes. Afterall, experience they say, is the best teacher! The financial report also would be out very soon but due to the proximity of the exams and incourses we might not be able to hold a congress before the end of the semester but we shall make provisions to communicate more and also recieve your grievances. Also, you might not be seeing more of social events for now to enable us plan two ensitive projects coming soon, the Part 2 class renovation and the health week. This is all in a bid to save money and be more profitable.though we are not where we want to be, we are not where we used to be also. Once again, thanks for all your support thus far! each and everyone of you. God go make us bigger o!
